Dr. Jeanne Siegenthaler

Welcome to Richmond School! 

Hello, I am Jeanne Siegenthaler and I have been the District Administrator at Richmond since 2019. My prior experience was as an Elementary Principal in the Elmbrook School District for 11 years, where I was named the WI Elementary Principal of the Year. I was fortunate to serve as the AWSA, Association of Wisconsin School Administrators, President and am the current President for the Waukesha County Parent’s United Board. I received my Doctorate in Educational Leadership and Master’s Degree from Edgewood College, Madison, WI.  I was named a Distinguished Alumni in 2020. My Bachelor’s Degree in Education was obtained from The University of WI-Platteville. Giving back has always been a passion of mine. I am a Eucharistic Minister at my church, I have been an on-call advocate and serve on the Advocacy Council for the Women's Center (the only shelter in Waukesha County), and a Foster Care provider for children in Waukesha and Milwaukee Counties. The Waukesha County Women and Girls Fund named me a "Woman of Distinction" in 2022.

I am blessed with two children, Jett, a recent graduate of UW-Milwaukee, and Jenessa, who recently graduated from High School. I have been engaged to John Kozak, and we enjoy residing five minutes from Richmond. In my free time, I enjoy jogging, doing yoga, gardening, baking, and photography. I have four wonderful sisters and a mother that I get to spend a lot of time with.

It is great coming to Richmond each day. Our staff strives to make each student's day in school a safe, positive, and enjoyable experience. 4K-8 Principal

Mr. Steve Behrendt

I am excited and honored to be serving as the Richmond K-8 principal where we strive to provide our students with what they need to pursue their dreams. Richmond is a special, close-knit community that takes pride in helping develop high performing and high achieving students while concurrently supporting their social and emotional growth and well being. 

I am the father of three young children Aiden, Hadley, and Cole and a husband to an amazing wife and educator, Alyssa. When we are not teaching and learning in our respective schools, we enjoy spending time with each other outdoors, spending time with friends and family, and appreciating all the little things in life that bring us joy. Alyssa and I both coached various sports for a combined 30+ seasons where we now enjoy sports and fitness as a family.

Prior to joining the team at Richmond, I served three years as an associate principal at Longfellow Middle School in the Wauwatosa School District. Before becoming a principal I was a science teacher for 10 years at Oconomowoc High School. I have a Master of Arts in Educational Leadership and Policy Analysis from the University of Wisconsin-Madison and am currently in pursuit of my PhD in Leadership for the Advancement of Learning and Service through Cardinal Stritch University. Mr. Zach Daniels

I am thankful for the opportunity to become a part of the Richmond School District as the Director of Business Services. I hold a deep appreciation for this district, its students, families, and the wider community, all of whom have worked tirelessly to establish and maintain an outstanding school system.

During my professional journey spanning over 11 years, I have honed my leadership abilities through various roles within the West Bend School District. My career began as a middle school English teacher, and I later transitioned into the role of Dean of Students there. Subsequently, I served as an assistant principal at East High School for the past four years.

My educational background includes a Bachelor's degree in Secondary English Education from La Crosse in 2012, followed by a Master's degree in Educational Leadership from Cardinal Stritch in 2019. Currently, I am pursuing my School Business Administrator licensure at Concordia University, which I expect to earn in spring of 2024.

Beyond my professional commitments, I enjoy spending time with my wife and two lively young children, whose boundless energy keeps us feeling youthful. I also indulge in my personal interests, such as disc golfing, hiking, and nurturing a passion for automobiles.
